Field Study #2

Thursday, September 29, 2022 Field Notes: Today was the 2nd time I've visited my location in the woods by my house. I went at 6:10 PM and the sun was just starting to go down. It was 59 degrees outside, and it was very sunny, but the air was chilly and there was a little bit of a breeze. The length of today was 12 hours and 10 minutes. Some things I heard were the sounds of the football game going on close to the woods, the wind rustling through the trees, and a few birds singing. Some things I noticed during my visit was the sunlight streaming through the top of the trees, a few squirrels running around, and the wind picking up leaves along the path. I could feel the path beneath my feet, and I felt the creek water, which was very cold.  Wednesday, September 8, 2022 Hello! My name is Ruthie Ryden and this is going to be my field study blog, which will show all of the exciting parts of nature I get to look at and observe over the next few weeks! It was around 75 degrees, and was pretty sunny outside, but because I was in the woods, it was shady because of the trees. This was my visit visit to my location in the woods.
