Field Study #4

Thursday, October 27, 2022

Thursday, October 27 field notes: This was the fourth visit I made to my location. It was a little bit cloudy, and considerably colder than my last visit. It was around 51 degrees, but felt cooler than that. But there was a light breeze, and it was very enjoyable visit! The length of the day was 10 hours and 31 minutes. Today on my visit, I saw that the majority of the trees' colors had changed, and many of the leaves had fallen to the ground. I also noticed some of the branches from the trees had been cut down, and they were laying off the sides of the path. I could hear the crunch of the leaves under my feet, the quiet sound of the creek, and a light breeze going through the trees. One thing that I felt on my visit was a leaf that I found on the ground, which I'm pretty sure came from a maple tree.

I took this photo because you can see how the path is completely covered with fallen leaves!

I took a few pictures of different trees to represent all the different beautiful colors of fall!

My last item on my field notes is a sketch/sound map of my visit today:

That's it for my field study today!
